IF YOU WANT NEWS YOU GOT IT!
5 years! 2010 marks 5 years of AC/DC Madness!
GASPARILLA - THE AFTERMATH
Gasparilla 2010 was probably one of the craziest, coolest, strange, fun gigs ever! We are renaming it “Garageparilla”!
The rain had the whole town on edge wondering how it would affect the parade, and show etc. It seemed pretty bleak there early on, we moved the whole setup inside the parking garage of the Hyatt facing out to the parade route. It was dark, cement,...good for a rock show?
YES! When the parade was over all of a sudden the floodgates opened and hundreds of crazy drunks and partying pirates and our many fans surrounded our stage and went mental! It was like the early days of AC/DC in the Australian clubs with low ceiling, dark, with people packed right in your face loving every song. We really want to thank Jane, Rich, and all of the Hyatt folks for the opportunity...what a gig!

HOT TUNA ROCKED! Thanks to the many fans who came to this cool event in downtown Tampa. I don’t think weve seen so many dance for so long! Plus the best Angus Contest was hilarious and the winner was so thrilled. Pics up soon!
Also we just confirmed that we are back at “Giving Hunger the Blues” for our 4th straight time MAY 2ND! This event supports a local food bank so please come out and donate. Thousands will be in attendance, it’s for the whole family too. Martyn and Chris will be doing a set before H2H with Absolute Queen too! The tribute bands will start around 4pm.
SEE YOUI NEXT UP AT GASPARILLA!
-------------------------
Here is an update below on our last 3 shows for those of you who could not make it. Up Next we do a Grand Opening for HOT TUNA a rockin’ venue across the street from the St. Pete Times Forum this Friday, 10pm show - FREE! Plus we bring back the “Best Angus” contest sponsored by DEAN guitars. Check our calendar page for details. Then we are back to ROCK Gasparilla!
Thanks to all of the fans who came to “Get Out of the Garage” at Sam Ash in Dec., the many fans who braved the cold for “Thunder By The Bay”, and the awesome people at the Showman’s Club for the Gibtown Bikefest!
GET OUT OF THE GARAGE - this important event raised money and awareness for the Hillsborough County Chapter of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). It was a Great crowd all day and the staff at Sam Ash Clearwater were outstanding! Also Thanks to AC/DC and Brenda Johnson for donating those amazing autographed items for the silent auction!
THUNDER BY THE BAY - Cold..Crazy...Fun and rewarding. This charity event was important to many Kids and we want to thank everyone involved from the sound man to Lucy to the boys in Nuthin’ Fancy and Hangmans Jury and Brenda Johnson for coming out and heating up the place! Plus a VERY important person we just found out was in the crowd and saw us and was blown away, and now we are being considered for a MAJOR gig we hope to announce soon!
GIBTOWN BIKE FEST - Thanks to Ron and Patty and Chris and all the staff at the Showmans Club! This is a really cool unique place and Bike Fest! We had a little trouble with a county wide power outage but once the lights came back.. we killed them for 2 hours straight. New tunes like “Big Gun” and the classic “Bad Boy Boogie” tore the roof off! Then the encore set was even more packed with dancing drunk fans! Great stage and sound and fun atmosphere! Thanks to Art for the “unique” song request too!

It’s free - we go on around 5pm, but all the fun starts at Noon with great bands including a Queen Tribute featuring out own Martyn and Chris!, huge in store sales, MADD on site so you can donate, and a silent auction with items signed by AC/DC! Plus our own Tangus will battle it out around 3:45pm in a Lead Guitar contest with some of the areas best guitarists to win a new DEAN axe! A Fun way to end a GREAT year with family and friends and many hometown fans. See you there! Details on our calendar page
November is about over and we had a fantastic time at City Hall Pub in Jacksonville, an unexpected big fun crowd on a Wednesday night in Naples at Vison - thanks Larry!, and then the best of all was the Palm Harbor Bikefest! It was like Thunder by the Bay meets Giving Hunger the Blues! The show had everything from thousands of fans, kids, bikers, vendors, awesome sound and production...WOW! We were asked to be back in 2010 so expect another crazy show later next year! Thanks to all!
We just had 3 crazy shows at Boot Hill Saloon for Biketoberfest! Thanks to all involved. Boot Hill treats us like family.
Up next 3 gigs in one week. Jacksonville, Naples, and Palm Harbor. Check out the calendar page for details. Then December is a time for family, holiday parties, and it looks like we will just do one charity fundraiser for MADD Dec. 12th and rest up for the New Year.
Thanks again all! See you soon!

PAST NEWS HIGHLIGHT!
THE HIGHLIGHT OF 2007!
HIGHWAY TO HELL MEMBERS SHARE THE STAGE WITH AC/DC!
LAST NIGHT IN SARASOTA THE IRISH ROVER BAR CELEBRATED IT’S 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH A HUGE STREET PARTY WITH BRIAN JOHNSON AND CLIFF WILLIAMS OF AC/DC JAMMING SOME CLASSIC TUNES AND SCOTTI HILL OF SKID ROW WAS THERE TOO!
The Highlight of the night was when Brian asked Martyn and Rod to join them for the encore of Highway to Hell and Rod jammed rhythm guitar right next to Cliff Williams and sang backups while Brian Johnson graciously let Martyn sing lead. They tore the roof off! Martyn blew the crowd away and both Cliff and Brian commented that Martyn and Rod were fantastic and Martyn has a “hell of a voice”!! It was an amazing time - we have lots of pics now (Pics Page) and video coming soon!
